Moose Island Outfitters is licensed to conduct Guided hunts for Moose and Black Bear with in our designated 450 sq mile area located in the Nechaco basin in Central British Columbia, Canada.  We are members of the GOABC and as a member subscribe to the Code of Ethics and Standards as defined by our membership.

Welcome to Moose Island Outfitters and thank you for visiting our web site. Moose Island Outfitters offers exciting hunts for Canadian moose and Black Bear in a remote setting. By limiting our area to 4 hunters at a time we can offer quality hunts with expert guides, excellent equipment, and great facilities and above average meals. The area has been lightly hunted the last 6 years resulting in a very healthy game population that will provide an excellent opportunity for you to harvest your desired trophy.

We are situated 4 hours west of Prince George, the geographic center of British Columbia. Our hunting territory is unique as the majority our territory is located on a peninsula that is accessible by boat or float plane only, making it very difficult for anyone other than our clients to hunt the area. The topography is gentle with a few steep or rugged areas.

Our hunting techniques for Canada Moose and Black Bear focus on spot and stalk, still hunting or through the use of strategically placed ground blinds and tree stands on  lakes and clear cuts. Movement of hunters between locations is by boat, 4X4 truck or ATV. With the many options available, we can, with your input easily customize your hunt to match your hunting style or needs while assuring you experience a comfortable and memorable time here at Moose Island Outfitters.

The ease of hunting, ample game, great grouse hunting, unbelievable fishing and beautiful scenery, coupled with excellent accommodations including your own sleeping cabin and modern shower facilities will accommodate traditional hunting groups as well as being a great choice for  husband / wife, father / son , daughter or other personal group combination .
