Black Bear Hunts in BC
Spring Hunts for Big Canadian Bears
Moose Island's exclusive 450 sq. mile remote hunting area is ideal for spring Canadian black bear hunts. And we’ve got lots of bears. Including very large trophy specimens.
Expert Guides & 5-Day Hunts
Regular sightings and successfully bagged animals include Blonde Bears, Brown Bears, Cinnamon Bears and plenty of Black Bears. Six foot plus and even some seven foot black bears are harvested every year.
Our exclusive hunts with expert guide outfitters are 5 day long hunts with the opportunity to take a second bear for a small fee.
BC Bear Hunting Details
Most of these hunts are not physically challenging. We spot and stalk from boats and 4X4’s as part of your fully outfitted hunting experience.
For those that prefer a more demanding on the ground stalking hunt please ask about our first hunt of the year on Onion Mountain.
